Classical education is a proven, time-tested approach to learning that focuses on teaching students how to think rather than just what to think. It’s based on the idea that education should develop well-rounded, thoughtful, and virtuous individuals. Instead of only focusing on modern subjects, classical education integrates history, literature, philosophy, and the arts to build strong, logical thinking skills.

We are a full-time school currently offering grades K-5. We plan to expand by one grade each year until we serve students from K-12.

Yes, our goal is to expand by adding one grade level per year until we reach a full K-12 program. Starting with K-5 in Fall 2025, we plan to grow alongside our students, ensuring a consistent, high-quality classical Christian education throughout their entire academic journey. Stay tuned for updates as we continue to develop and expand our offerings!

At CCA, our program is designed to follow a classical education model, specifically focusing on academic rigor and traditional learning methods. Unfortunately, we are not equipped to meet the specialized needs of students with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs). While we value the diverse learning needs of all students, we cannot provide the necessary resources and accommodations that an IEP requires. Please feel free to call the office to schedule an appointment to discuss your learners' needs.

Covenant Christian Academy is a full-time, private, non-profit K-5 classical Christian school committed to providing affordable, quality education. Tuition for K-5 is $8,500 and includes the cost of the curriculum, with some minimal additional fees. A school supply list will be provided to families in early August.

We offer financial aid through FACTS for families in need, with aid amounts communicated after processing all documentation. Additionally, we provide discounts for multiple students: $250 for a second student and $500 for a third and beyond. For more details or assistance, please contact the office.

School enrollment isn't contingent upon being a Christian; however, all families must acknowledge and annually affirm, without reservation or active opposition to our Statement of Faith, as this guides our Christ-centered values and practices, fostering a respectful and inclusive learning environment.

Yes, uniforms will be required for all students at CCA. We believe uniforms help create unity and equality among students, minimize distractions, and promote a focused learning environment. The specific uniform guidelines and options will be provided to families before the start of the school year.

Teachers will use technology to aid in their instruction. CCA students will learn through reading, discussion, hands-on activities, listening, and more!

We understand that transitioning to classical education can be a big change, but we’re here to help! Before enrollment, we assess each student to understand their needs. With support from our dedicated teachers and a strong partnership between parents and students, we work together to ensure a smooth and successful transition.

Latin is a key component of classical education because it provides a strong foundation for language learning, critical thinking, and academic discipline. Learning Latin helps students understand the roots of many modern languages, including English, and enhances their vocabulary, grammar, and reading comprehension. It also trains the mind in logical, structured thinking, which benefits students across all subjects. Additionally, studying Latin connects students to the classical texts and ideas that have shaped Western civilization, deepening their understanding of history, philosophy, and literature.

No, CCA is not affiliated with a church or denomination. However, we align with the Apostle's Creed as our primary doctrine.

No, students do not need to be Christian to attend. We recognize that families may be at different stages of their faith journey, and we warmly welcome those exploring or seeking to learn more about Christianity. As a classical Christian school, our curriculum and community activities are rooted in biblical values. At enrollment, families are asked to affirm our Statement of Faith, acknowledging their support for our Christ-centered mission and commitment to a faith-based educational environment.

Covenant Christian Academy is a member of the Association of Christian Schools International and the Association of Classical Christian Schools. Accreditation requires a school to be fully operational for a period of time before the accreditation process can begin. Once this requirement is met, CCA will pursue accreditation.
